CMC Partners are flexible when we work with your business, but we find the four main roles are:
The consultant
There’s still a role for traditional management consultancy, and CMC Partners are able to introduce the appropriate tools and templates whenever they add value.
The business adviser
CMC Partners provide basic business advice on financial accounts, sales and marketing, procedures and processes and people. They act as a signpost to appropriate professionals who can provide specialist support.
The mentor
The mentoring role builds on your relationship with the Partner. They can advise on softer issues such as leadership style, relationship issues and the culture of the organisation.
The non-executive director
The non-executive director role is the most obviously strategic. CMC Partners can stimulate thinking about the overall direction of the business, and its strengths and weaknesses. This is most useful when thinking about your exit strategy.
