For 20 years, Peter worked in corporate finance, advising on fundraising, acquisitions and company sales. Having started his corporate finance career within a large banking organisation, Peter subsequently formed his own advisory business with two partners to focus on supporting small and medium-sized businesses seeking expansion and acquisition finance. In 2000, he became a director and founder shareholder of an education services business that developed rapidly through the acquisition of a number of owner managed companies. He has particular experience of the issues and challenges faced by owners in realising value from their businesses. Peter has been an executive and non-executive director of a number of public and private companies and currently has non-executive positions with three private businesses.
